Rita Franck
Rita M. Franck, age 100, of St. Henry passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born on May 27, 1919 in St. Henry to the late Bernard & Bertha (Muhlenkamp) Tobe. On October 14, 1939 she married Malcolm J. Franck and he died December 27, 1982.
She is survived by children and in-laws; Ginny & Paul Osterholt of St. Henry, Mark & Phyllis Franck of Tipp City, Lowell & Diane Franck of St. Henry, Karen & Jim Hoying of Chickasaw, Sandy & Denny Huelsman of St. Henry, Patricia & John Franzer of Tipp City, and Linda Franck of Tipp City; 23 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 11 great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Paul & Anne Tobe.
She was also preceded in death by a son Gerald; 1 great-great grandson; siblings and in-laws Alma & Walter Sutter, Alfred & Genevieve Tobe, Werner & Marie Tobe, Dolores & Victor Wimmers, Herbert & Rosemary Tobe, Carl & Dorothy Tobe, Genevieve Brunswick-Stachler, Lucy Hoelscher, Eileen Gaerke, Ray Franck, Ferd Franck, Ed Franck, Leo Franck, Florence Franck, Walter Franck and Paul Franck.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was a farm wife who enjoyed quilting, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
