Chickasaw volunteer firefighters respond to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Homan Road and State Route 274 in Franklin Township. Dustin Kramer, 31, Maria Stein, said he was westbound on State Route 274 attempting to turn left onto Homan Road when his Pontiac sedan was rear-ended by a Ford van. Mercer County Sheriff's Deputy Kevin Wynk said the van's driver had suffered minor injures and was transported to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. Kramer said he was not injured.
