* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Charles Miller
Charles C. "Chuck" Miller, age 77, of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born April 17, 1942 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Clyde Clark Miller and Jane Carol Elser Miller, and was raised by James Loughridge and Ilo Loughridge Somner. Chuck and Diane S. Grunden were married on August 1, 1964, and she preceded him in death on March 6, 1986.
Surviving are their children: Lori Miller and Darin (Tammy) Miller of Celina, and grandchildren: Ethan Miller and Madison Miller. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters-in-law: Lyn Loughridge of Celina, Madelyn Grunden (Johnny Provci) of Montezuma, Jack Grunden, Jerry Grunden, Joe Grunden (Sally Yohey) of Celina, Michael (Lou) Grunden of Celina, Linda (Eugene) Marshal of Montezuma, and Kay Gibson of Celina, a special cousin, Shirley Partin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by brothers & sisters: James and Cleo Loughridge, Maxine and Maurice "Woody" Woodruff, Lowell and Lucille Loughridge, Jerry Loughridge and Ruth Loughridge Eichenauer, and Richard Loughridge, and brothers & sisters-in-law: Donald Grunden, Michael Gibson, Gene Grunden, Cora Grunden and Ruby Grunden.
A graduate of Celina High School, Chuck served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and later was a member of the Ohio National Guard.
Chuck had worked for the Tiffin Ambulance Service and Yauger Ambulance Service, and retired from the Celina Fire Department where he served many years as a firefighter and paramedic. He had been a Reserve Officer with the Mercer County Sheriff's Department, and served for a time as Chief of Police for the Village of Montezuma.
In his younger years, Chuck enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served on the board of the Red Cross and the Mental Health Board. He was a member of Celina VFW Post #5713, Celina American Legion Post #210, and the Mercer County Sportsman's Club. Chuck really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 6, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home Celina, with Pastor Colleen Beasecker, officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina, with graveside Military Rites to be conducted by the Celina VFW and American Legion.
Calling Hours are 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, and one hour before services on Monday, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
