* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dorothy Benner

Dorothy L. Benner, age 99 of Coldwater, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at her home in Coldwater.

She was born March 14, 1920 in Virginia to the late John & Katherine (Schmidt) Kohnen. On July 13, 1940 in River Rouge, Michigan she married Tom Benner and he passed away in 2001.

She is survived by her children, Ginny & Denny Westhoff of Surprise, Arizona, Mike & Sharon Benner of Melbourne Beach, Florida, Jim & Nancy Benner of Savannah, Georgia, Tom & Pat Benner of Jackson, Michigan, Barb Benner of Coldwater and Betsy Benedetto of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Aimee in 1986.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and was a Volunteer at Coldwater Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater from 10 am to noon Thursday.
