* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Gerald Martin

Gerald E. Martin, 77, passed away on April 18, 2019 in Orange Park, Florida. Gerald was formerly a St. Marys, Ohio resident before he retired to the "Sunshine State."

Gerald was born on February 28, 1942 to Norman "Sam" and Florence (McDermitt) Martin.

Gerald was the middle brother of Rodney Martin and Joe (Patty) Martin. Gerald was the father to 5 children. JT (Yvonne) Martin, John Martin, Jaysen Martin, Heather (Darren) Porter and Dustin (Rona) Martin. He was a grandfather to 8 grandchildren. He also helped raise 2 special ladies for many years in Florida Maria and Andrea, who knew him as g-pa. He had 3 nieces, Paige (Rick) Canfield, Carissa Martin and Lori Oregon and 1 nephew, Paul Martin.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Florence Martin, sons John Martin and Jaysen Martin and a grandson, Jaysen Hone.

Gerald graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1960 and retired as a welder in the National Boiler Makers Union.

On April 23, 2019 he was laid to rest at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with full Military rites from serving in the US Navy right out of high school. Private services for family and friends were held.
