   CELINA - Area residents met at Celina High School on Wednesday night to review eight proposed building project plans that could reshape the district's future.
Plans drafted by Fanning-Howey Associates are based on feedback from more than 1,400 survey respondents. Enrollment, which has declined from more than 3,000 in 2002 to just over 2,500 this school year, was a big factor in decision-making, superintendent Ken Schmiesing said. [More]

The Big Ten debut for Seth Lonsway was a dandy.
The Celina graduate struck out 12 to help Ohio State open conference baseball action with a 2-0 win over Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey.
The redshirt freshman left-hander scattered three hits, walked just two and struck out 12 in his 115-pitch performance. Lonsway, who earlier this season struck out 11, became the first Buckeye pitcher to strike out at least 12 batters in a game since Alex Wimmers struck out 14 in 2010. [More]
