* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

John Uhlenhake
John Paul Uhlenhake, age 62, of Celina, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born October 14, 1956, in Celina, to Paul J. & Joan E. (Oswald) Uhlenhake. Both parents preceded him in death, as well as his son, John Paul Uhlenhake Jr. "Johnny", who died September 6, 1998.
On June 1, 1974, John married Ruth Ward. She survives, along with their three daughters: Amy (Craig) Homan of Goodyear, Arizona, Holly Uhlenhake of Celina, and Betsy Uhlenhake (Paras Patel) of Mason, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Klosterman of Celina, and ten grandchildren: Ethan, Bailey, Emma, Colin, Caitlyn, Dylan, Sylas, Amelia, Giselle and Penelope. Also surviving are John's six brothers & sisters: Ann (Ron) Heitbrink, Jim Uhlenhake, Lisa Uhlenhake, and Mark (Deb) Uhlenhake, all of Celina, Mike Uhlenhake of Lima, and Ellen (Jack) Gerlach, of Celina. His brothers & sisters-in-law: Gerald "Mort" (Candy) Ward, Louis (Joan) Ward, Harold "Brownie" Ward, Janice Secrest, and Dean Ward, all survive in Celina.
A brother-in-law, Larry "Dutch" Ward, is deceased.
John retired after 30 years of service working for District 7 of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT). He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Celina. John was the "Greatest Collector on Earth", collecting treasures large and small. He loved to 'tinker' in his barn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 28, with Fr. Vince Wirtner, C.PP.S., presiding. Burial will be at St. Marys Cemetery in Celina.
Calling Hours are on Sunday, January 27, from 2:00-6:00 p.m., and Monday, January 28, from 9:30-10:15 a.m., at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to: Celina VFW Post #5713 or Celina American Legion Post #210.
