Charles Adams
Charles E. Adams, age 80, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 6:30 am, Thursday, January 10, 2019 in The Gardens at Celina.
He was born April 10, 1938 in Van Wert County to the late Victor and Mabel (Childs) Adams. On November 24, 1957 he married Geraldine (Rider) Adams; and she survives in Celina.
Other survivors include his children, Roxann (Bill) Holtman, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Sueann Lore, Celina, Greg (Becky) Adams, St. Marys, and Troy (Melinda) Adams, Celina; two sisters, Maxine Miller, Michigan, and Linda Laughlin, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Adams, Edgerton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
He is also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Chet Lore; a brother, Richard Adams; a sister, Dolores Fair; three brothers-in-law, Bill Fair, Ralph Miller, and Ronnie Laughlin.
Charles retired from Matt Schwieterman Construction as a heavy equipment operator after many years of service. He attended Grace Missionary Church in Celina, and was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210.
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Christian officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private graveside services will follow at Ridge Cemetery in Middle Point, Ohio.
His wish was for memorial contributions to be made to Grace Missionary Church in Celina.
