Pauline Daniel, 86, of Saint Marys, died 6:37 P.M. Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Venetian Gardens, Loveland, Ohio. She was born October 14, 1932, in Pineville, Kentucky, the daughter of Ed and Ava (Webb) Rhodes. She married John Daniel on January 13, 1951; he preceded her in death on December 21, 2012.

She is survived by her children: Laban (Kathy) Daniel of Saint Marys; Pastor Alva (Cheryl) Daniel of Saint Marys; Sandra (David) Stammen of Blanchester, Ohio; Edmund (Carmen) Daniel of Saint Marys. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Michael Daniel; Meggan Daniel Yahl; Sean Daniel; Christopher Burns; Bradley Burns; Priscilla Laws; Stacy Schoen; Zachary Daniel; Tyler Daniel; Cody Daniel. Also surviving are 40 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Matt Rhodes of Saint Marys.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; by her siblings: Murphy Rhodes; Bertha Wilder; Dorothy Thiebeau; Lowell Rhodes; Delbert Rhodes; her twin, Paul Rhodes; Thursa Sharp.

Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the Flagship Missionary Baptist Church, Saint Marys, where she was a mentor to many. She was well known as a great cook, and she loved spending time with her family, church activities, and quilting.

Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Elder Ed Rhodes, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Flagship Missionary Baptist Church.
