* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Aloys Link
Aloys H. Link, age 94, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on November 25, 2018, at Mercer Health, Coldwater.
He was born January 12, 1924, in North Star, OH, to the late Charles and Anna (Wuebker) Link. On June 7, 1949, he married the late Cleopha (Homan)Link, who died September 19, 2016.
Surviving are his children, Dennis (Becky) Link of Batavia, OH, Carl (Cindy) Link of Fort Recovery, Rose (Don) Smith of Cleves, OH, Bill (Nancy) Link of Fort Recovery, Tom (Sharon) Link of Fort Recovery, Jerry (Deb) Link of Coldwater, Donna (Wayne) Steineman of New Bremen, Paul (Sharon) Link of Mayville, WI, Ed (Sharon) Link of Fort Recovery, Marie (Mark) Osterholt of Fort Recovery; two sisters, Edna Reinhard of Plainfield, IN and Sr. Adelaide Link S.F.P. of Cincinnati; 34 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Link of Fort Recovery and Phyllis Link of Coldwater; in-laws, Sally Homan of St. Henry and Lillian Homan of Coldwater.
Also preceding him in death are his daughter-in-law, Cindy Link; granddaughter, Natasha Link; great granddaughter, Keeley Link; siblings, Rudolph (Lucille & Mary) Link, Sr. Jean Link S.F.P., Lawrence Link, Marilyn (Eugene) Fullenkamp, Elmer Link; brother-in-law, Eugene Reinhard; in-laws, Paul (Irene) Homan, Cletus (Viola) Homan, Arnold Homan, Anna (Florence) Evers, and Juletta (Linus) Huelskamp.
Aloys was a farmer and drove school bus for Fort Recovery Schools for ten years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre.
He was active in many community affairs. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, Fort Recovery, where he served as chaplain for 37 years. He also was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 345, where he served in the honor guard and color guard. Aloys served on the Mercer County Fair Board for 21 years, was a Gibson Township Trustee and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3324, Fort Recovery. He served on the Mercer County Community Hospital (Mercer Health) Board of Trustees and later served on the Board of Governors of the hospital for many years. Aloys also served many years on the Farm Service Agency Community Conservation Committee.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg and its Holy Name Society.
In his past-time, he loved playing cards, tinkering in his shop, and having coffee with friends in town.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will be held 7:50 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, contributions can be made to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsviile, OH.
