* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Pamela Vannett
Pamela Jean (Thomas) Vannett, age 66, of Delphos, a former Mendon area resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2018, at the CHP Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center, following an extended illness.
She was born July 9, 1952, in Van Wert, to the late Ray & Freda (Dilbone) Thomas. On April 13, 1969, she married William Neal "Bill" Vannett, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Pam is survived by her Sons: Brian N. Vannett (Renee Ward) of Delphos, and Brad A. Vannett (Joanne) of Van Wert, Grandchildren: Taylor, Hannah, Nathan and Nolan, Brother, Allen "Jim" Thomas of Convoy, and Sisters-in-law: Sharon Thomas of Coldwater and Jayne Norton of Celina.
She was preceded in death by Brothers: Gene, Jerry, Ronnie, Billie and Max.
Pam attended Mendon-Union High School, and worked at Vancrest for many years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed all the area festivals, parades, and fairs, her favorite being the Kalida parade, and always looked forward to the Van Wert County Fair. Pam enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. She loved being a Grandma, and watching her Grandkids play.
Calling Hours are at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon, on Saturday, October 27, from 2:00-4:00 P.M., followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 4:00. Linda Linn will officiate.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
