Char was born October 24, 1955 in Kentucky to the late, hard-working James and Ruby Smothers. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and proud grandmother. She is survived by her dedicated and devoted husband, Randy Brown, of 31 years marriage.
Char was blessed with one loving daughter, Rachel Smith and one endearing grandson, Matthew. Char's sisters include Deborah and Karen, and brothers James and Robert, all preceded in death by their sister, Rita. Randy is the son of Winona Brown, brother Dennis and sister, Vanessa.
