Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

ST. MARYS - A local group has purchased St. Marys Square, which had housed J.C. Penney and Kmart stores, and announced that an area manufacturer will fill the former Kmart site.

Minster holds off Fort Recovery for 28-22 win

MINSTER - The Minster Wildcats and the Fort Recovery Indians are quickly becoming one of the biggest football rivalries in the MAC, as their last six games over the previous four years were hard-fought and close classics.

CELINA - Wright State University-Lake Campus students began their first day of fall-semester classes on Aug. 27 with a record-breaking enrollment of 1,528 students, a 5.2 percent spike from last year, dean and chief administrative officer Jay Albayyari told the newspaper.
