Alvera Fishbaugh
Alvera B. Fishbaugh, age 87, passed away on August 31, 2018, at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, Ohio. She was born in Celina to the late Albert and Hazel (Perkins) Hole on May 12, 1931.
On Feb 26, 1950 at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Celina, she married Arthur "Whitey" Fishbaugh Jr. who preceded her in death on June 27, 2014. After her husband's death, Alvera moved to the Fremont area to be closer to her children.
Alvera is survived by her loving children: Tom (Connie) Fishbaugh of Green Springs and Tim (Karen) Fishbaugh of Bowling Green, 1 granddaughter, Heather (Logan) Colyer of Marysville, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses: Anna Mae (Don) Spicer, Helen (Floyd) Grier, and Charles (Burnell) Hole.
Alvera was a 1949 graduate of Mendon High School. She was very devoted to her family and a member of Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina. Alvera enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation hours will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grand Lake United Methodist Church, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
