Area grad walks in footsteps of saint

CELINA - Long inspired by Mother Teresa, a young man from St. Henry sought to walk in the saint's footsteps this summer by embarking on a seven-week missionary trip to Calcutta, India.

Three suspects ID'd in local explosion

Roth and Panther teammate Matt Gaerke got out to a quick pace and never looked back as they finished 1-2 in the high school boys' race. Roth crossed the line in 18:31.02 with Gaerke close behind at 18:48.51. [More]

Mercer County Fair attendance up 10.8 percent
CELINA - This year's Mercer County Fair attendance was up 10.8 percent over that at last year's fair.
Total attendance was recorded at about 72,000, up from about 65,000 last year, fair manager Cara Muhlenkamp said at Tuesday's fair board meeting.
