* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Gerald Siefring
Gerald A. Siefring, age 84, of Philothea, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born June 2, 1934 in Philothea, to the late Bernard J. and Pauline (Dues) Siefring.
He is survived by siblings, Luetta Forsthoefel, Bernice & Don Wellman and Herbert Siefring all of Coldwater Roger & Rose Ann Siefring of Philothea and in-laws, Mary Siefring of Coldwater, Mildred Siefring of Celina, Dorothy Siefring of Coldwater and Eileen Siefring of Philothea; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by siblings Barthel Siefring, Omer & Monica Siefring, Orville & Jeannette Siefring, Bernard Siefring, Elmer Siefring, Charles Siefring and David Siefring; and in-laws, Don Forsthoefel and Stella Siefring.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Philothea, Philothea men's sodality; he attended Philothea Special Schoolhouse, was a lifelong farmer on the family farm and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM and on Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Parkinson's Association.
