* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Annabelle Baer
Annabelle Baer, 88, of rural Spencerville, passed away peacefully at 2:45 PM Monday, July 16, 2018 in the Roselawn Manor in Spencerville following a short illness, with her family at her side.
She was born on the family farm near Monticello in Van Wert County, a daughter of the late Charles and Tena Becker Boroff. On August 7, 1949 she married Ervin W. Baer, who died November 16, 2007.
Surviving are her daughter Amy (Tommy) Lamb of Kempner, TX. and her son Mike (Carla) Baer of Spencerville; three grandchildren; Krista (Dickie) Julian of Austin, TX.; Mike Baer, Jr. of Spencerville and Brian (Heather) Beaver of Lampass, TX.; and 9 great grandchildren; Amy Marie Julian, Benjamin Julian and Charlie Julian; Logan Beaver, Hannah Stults, Dylan Beaver, Joshua Beaver, Kelly Beaver and Jackson Beaver; her brother, Junior (Mary Lou) Boroff of St. Marys and her sister-in-law; Dorothy Imler of Amity, AR.
Preceding her in death are her siblings; Carl Boroff, Kenneth (Mildred) Boroff, Mary Kathryn Boroff, Marcile Boroff, Pauline (Warren) Stultz, Betty (Dale) Ketterman, and Fern Rockhold and her brother-in-law; Lester Imler.
Ann was a long time member of the New Salem Presbyterian Church near her home in Auglaize County and was a 1948 graduate of the Spencerville High School. A homemaker, she worked with her husband and family on their family farm. After Ervin passed away, she volunteered for eleven years at the Roselawn Manor. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, crochetting and walking for health.
Funeral services will be next week on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, South of Monticello.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
At Annabelle's request, instead of flowers, Memorial contributions may be sent to the Roselawn Manor Activities Fund or to the Spencerville United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
