A car sits in a cornfield off Hayes Road north of State Route 197 after a one-vehicle accident at about 10:22 a.m. Wednesday. A Mercer County sheriff's deputy along with Celina Fire Department and Mercer County Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the scene. Reportedly, a victim was bleeding from his head and elbow. The male driver declined transport to the hospital. Further details were not available this morning.
