* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jerry Scheer
Mr. Jerry George Scheer, of Wright City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.
Mr. Scheer was born on April 7, 1956 in St. Marys, Ohio to Lafe (Jack) and Rachel (nee: Katterheinrich) Scheer. He had reached the age of 61 years.
Jerry Scheer was preceded in death by his parents; Lafe (Jack) and Rachel Scheer.
He is survived by four siblings; JoAnn Schweissguth and husband Bill from Marthasville, MO, Judy Cook and husband Frank from Marthasville, MO, John Scheer and wife Cathy from New Bremen, OH, Jeff Scheer and wife Debbie from New Bremen, OH, Nephew; Lafe Schweissguth and wife Amanda and four children; Lilyann, Lafe II, Lyla, & Lydia from Dutzow, MO, Niece; Amanda B. Cook from Nevada MO, Niece; Amberlee Cook from Chicago, IL, Nephew; Abe Cook and wife Amanda Jo and two children Keagan & Logan from Washington, MO, Niece; Tina Thompson and husband Keith and four children Tristin, Natalie, Lola, & Kolton from New Knoxville, OH, Nephew; Jonathan Scheer from Wyandotte, MI, Niece; Jackie Christman and husband Jordan from New Bremen, OH, Niece; Jessica Scheer from New Bremen, OH, Niece; Jennifer Rethman and husband Brandon from Versailles, OH, Nephew; Jacob Scheer from New Bremen, OH, Ex-Wife; Claudia Scheer (nee Hoeft) and many other friends and family.
Jerry was a huge history buff. His father Lafe (Jack) served in World War II so he especially enjoyed reading about that war. He was a member of The New Bremen Historical Association. He also spent time woodworking and loved animals. His greatest gift was helping people with ideas and problem solving all aspects of home repair. He was a wonderful uncle and great uncle, who enjoyed spending time with all of his nieces and nephews.
Interment will be at 9:30 AM July 14, 2018, at the German Protestant Cemetery on New Bremen-New Knoxville Road (County Road 65A) New Bremen.
Calling hour will be at 10:30 AM July 14, followed by services at 11:30 AM and lunch served at noon, all at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 119. N. Franklin St., New Bremen.
Memorial donations are preferred to The New Bremen Historical Association.
