* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

St. Marys man arrested in stolen car

ST. MARYS - A 22-year-old St. Marys man was arrested early this morning after having been stopped in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

An Aqueduct Road resident called the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office at about 2:40 a.m. to report their 2008 silver Jeep as stolen. The caller also reported seeing a suspicious person near the residence and outbuildings, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Sheriff's deputies, St. Marys police officers and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers searched the area for the vehicle and suspect. About 20 minutes after the call, the vehicle was located by a deputy on U.S. 33 at Hardin Pike near Wapakoneta, the release stated.

Nathan D. Graham reportedly was alone in the vehicle during the traffic stop and was taken into custody. Graham remained in the Auglaize County jail this morning and is being charged with theft, according to the release. The matter remains under investigation for possible additional charges.

In the release, Sheriff Al Solomon commended his deputies and the other agencies for their response and for apprehending the suspect and recovering the vehicle so quickly.
