* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Andrew Makley
Andrew C. Makley was born October 6, 1924, in Saint Marys, Ohio, the son of William and Kathryn (Wilmes) Makley. He died on June 25, 2018, with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, Mark, at his side.
Andy graduated from Memorial High School in 1943, and served his country with the 13th Airborne Division of the US Army during WWII. Upon returning from the service, Andy joined his brothers and father as an ornamental welder for the family business, William Makley and Sons. He enjoyed working side by side his family for the next 44 years.
On July 19, 1952, he married Irene Huwer. He enjoyed many years with family and friends. He could be seen riding his bicycle or attending Saint Marys Roughriders practices and games.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years and 11 months, Irene; one daughter, Ann Makley (Mark) Baudendistel; by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Thelma Huwer; Delores Gels; Rita and Bill Huwer; Jo and Bob Shivers; by 38 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Clarence "Snuffy" Makley; George (Ruth) Makley; Bill (Janet) Makley; Weedie (Lowell) Brewer; Bob Derr; Carl "Shorty" (Beryl) Makley; Rosie (Bob) Horn. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Doc Gels and Alma (Wally) Sweeterman.
The family would like to thank the Saint Marys Fire Department, Deacon Marty Brown and Father Barry Stechschulte from Holy Rosary Church, Visiting Angels of Minster and the Hospice staff of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital for their care and support. Donations can be made to these organizations in lieu of flowers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys.
