The winners and the prizes they received were David Kramer, son of Gregory and Hellen Kramer, first place, $100; Malcom Head, son of Tim and Becca Head, second, $75; and Zach Stein, son of Doug and Lisa Stein, third, $50. All three are from Celina schools. More than 50 essays were submitted by students from Celina, Marion Local and Parkway schools. This year's Law Day theme was "Separation of Power: Framework for Freedom." The winners and their parents and teachers attended a luncheon and awards presentation on Monday at the courthouse.
