Aim to allow swimming in Grand Lake

CELINA - State and local officials this summer will launch an ambitious, half-million dollar endeavor to improve water quality at West Beach near Villa Nova to the point where people can once again swim there.
If successful, the project could be replicated at other local beaches and, perhaps more importantly, dispel widely held notions that all 13,500 acres of Grand Lake are potentially too dangerous for contact, officials say. [More]

FORT RECOVERY - Fort Recovery had no signs of panic during the middle of the seventh inning after Coldwater had tied the game at 3-all in the top of the inning.
The Indians just simply went to work to prevent extra innings.
Cade Wendel singled down the right field line with no outs in the bottom of the seventh to score Ethan Schoen as the Indians beat the Cavaliers 4-3 in a battle of state-ranked MAC baseball co-leaders. [More]
