A two-vehicle accident on U.S. 127 on Wednesday resulted in non-incapacitating injuries to both drivers, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's report. Melissa Burk, 42, Celina, was reportedly attempting to turn west into a driveway at about 2:57 p.m. when a Dodge pickup driven by John Bill Jr., 41, Van Wert, rear-ended her Chrysler station wagon. Both vehicles were northbound. Bill has been cited for failure to maintain an assured, clear distance. Burk reportedly was not wearing a seatbelt, but Bill was. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be a factor.
