* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Janet Fickert
Janet L. Fickert, age 82, of Celina, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born September 29, 1935 in Mercer County, to the late Doyt L. "Jeff" & Vernia Bixler Winemiller. Janet married Ralph O. Fickert on November 26, 1961, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2002.
She is survived by a Son, Jeff (Tracie) Fickert of Hollansburg, 3 Grandchildren: Elisha (Bart) Kuhn of Rockford, and J.R. Fickert and Rachel Fickert of Hollansburg, a Great Grandson, Hunter J. Germann, and a Brother & Sister: Dwight Winemiller and Margaret Goodwin.
Preceding her in death were a son, John E. Fickert, who died March 8, 2010, and an infant son, Timmy Lee Fickert.
Janet was a 1954 Celina High School graduate. She had helped her husband on the family farm, and with their race horses, and was a former member of the United States Trotting Association.
Janet had also worked as an aide at Otis Hospital and the Karch Home for the Elderly, and as a cook at the Fountain Restaurant in Celina and The Motor Inn at Mercer. She attended Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina.
Janet would do anything for anyone, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking, and crocheting blankets. Other favorite pastimes were Red Hat Day BINGO at the Senior Citizens Center, enjoying the outdoors, and her flowers. Janet was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Calling Hours are from 12:00 Noon-4:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 5, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, followed by the Funeral Service beginning at 4:00. Pastor Robert Sweeney will officiate. Burial will be at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Grand Lake Hospice or the Mercer County Council on Aging (Senior Citizens Center).
