David Lay
David E. Lay, 63, of Butler, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at his home.
David was born March 5, 1955, in Kenton, Ohio, the son of Paul and Freda Lay, who preceded him in death.
David had worked at Kraft Foods in Kendallville.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jessica Lay of Auburn, Indiana, and Andrew Kendall of Butler; a daughter, Hillary Lay of Butler; four brothers, Jim (Kathy) Lay of Miamisburg, Ohio, John Lay of Celina, Ohio, Bill (Amy) Lay of New Albany, Ohio and C. J. (Jill) Lay of Garrett, Indiana; seven sisters, Peggy (Ralph) Bakle of South Bend, Indiana, Dianne (Dick) Holland of Fremont, Ohio, Patty (Dave) Carteaux, New Haven Indiana, Kris (Keith) Kettering of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Janet (Dan) Minnich of Willshire, Ohio, Laura (Ed) Snyder of Sidney, Ohio, and Carol (Jerry) Byram, Fort Recovery, Ohio; grandchildren, Sage Shaffer, Stefen Lay, Bella Kendall and Liam Kendall; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held on Saturday, March 24. Deacon Patrick Minnich, David's nephew, officiated.
