* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Earl Moeller
Earl H. Moeller, 87, Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:01 PM at Wilson Hospice.
He was born in St. Sebastian, Ohio on September 20, 1930 to the late Gerhard F. and Ida (Goecke) Moeller. On August 13, 1953 in Coldwater, Ohio, he married Evelyn M. Jutte who survives in Sidney.
Also surviving are children, Cindy and Ron Steinke of Ocala, Florida, Kevin of Vandalia, Ohio, Lisa and Cyril Pleiman of Yorkshire, Ohio and Dianne and Chris Wooddell of Sidney, Ohio, brother, David and Marie Moeller of Casella, Ohio and sisters-in-law, Virginia Moeller of Vandalia, Ohio, Ruth Schwieterman of St. Henry, Ohio and Linda Jutte of Coldwater, Ohio and nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Paul and Rosemary Moeller, Othmar Moeller, Ruth and Stan Kremer, infant brother, Joseph, in-laws Frank Schwie-terman, Ted Jutte and grandson, Douglas Moeller in 2003.
Earl was a 1948 graduate of St. John High School in Maria Stein and a player on the school's first football team. An Air Force veteran, he moved to Sidney with his family in 1956 after becoming employed with Copeland Corporation and worked in the finance department until retirement in early 1993.
He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 659 and American Legion Post 217 all of Sidney.
Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 4-8 PM. A Knights of Columbus service will be held at 7:45 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice or the Sidney Lehman Foundation and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Amberger officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio.
