Montgomery gives money to replace bleachers at ball field

CELINA - William Montgomery, a stalwart patron of baseball in Celina, has stepped forward to donate more than $25,000 to replace the aging bleachers at Montgomery Field.
Also, the nonprofit Celina Baseball Association is edging closer to meeting its fundraising goal to get the field into shape for the upcoming season. [More]

Council OKs purchase of materials for amphitheater
CELINA - City council members on Monday night passed first reading of legislation to accept a $200,000 private donation for a splash pad and to award a contract to have it built in the Bryson Park District along Lake Shore Drive.
