Carol Raymond
Carol Raymond, 92, of St. Marys, OH died December 14, 2017 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, OH.
Mrs. Raymond was born September 12, 1925 in St. Marys, OH, the daughter of Louis and Marie (Huffman) Schmehl. On June 26, 1943 she married Olin "John" Raymond, who preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1998.
She is survived by: son, Dr. Jack (Helen) Raymond of Findlay, OH; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Martha Coby of St. Marys, OH; sister, Jane Thomes of St. Marys, OH; sister, Dorothy Peffley of Celina, OH; sister Louise Davis of Celina, OH; sister of Alice Katterheinrich-Carpenter of New Knoxville, OH; brother, Robert (Dottie) Schmehl of St. Marys, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Marie Schmehl; husband Olin John Raymond; infant daughter Jill Raymond; sister Marjorie Stienecker.
She was a 1943 graduate of Memorial High School. She was a retired secretary from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in St. Marys. Her favorite pastimes included bowling and traveling to Florida. Carol was very friendly and outgoing. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
Rites are scheduled to begin 1:00 p.m. Wednesday December 20, 2017 at the Meyer Community Chapel of Otterbein-St. Marys. Private burial will take place in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton, OH.
