Murlin selected first team All-Ohio

Divisions II-III All-Ohio Football

Celina senior linebacker Kole Murlin earned first team All-Ohio honors in the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association's All-Ohio selections for Division II and III on Tuesday evening.

Murlin earned his honors in Division III as he led the Bulldogs in tackles with 104 with five sacks and was an all-around player, leading the team in scoring with 169 points and was one of the top rushers and receivers this season.

The last Celina player to earn first team All-Ohio honors was Erik Chapin in 2005.

Murlin's teammate, junior Seth Huston, was selected to the honorable mention.

Elida quarterback Isaac McAdams was a second-team selection in Division III.

Division III Offensive Player of the Year honors were shared by Trotwood-Madison's Ra'Velon Hargrove and Sandusky's Ja'Vez Alexander. Chase Kline of Chardon was the Defensive Player of the Year and Trotwood-Madison's Jeff Graham was the Coach of the Year.

Honors in Division II went to Winton Woods' Andre Parker (Coach of the Year) and Chris Oats (Defensive Player of the Year) and Wadsworth's Joey Baughman (Offensive Player of the Year).
