* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Carl Wermert
Carl J. Wermert, 75, Sidney, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 27, 2017.
He was born on February 28, 1942 in St. Sebastian, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Clara (Bertke) Wermert and they are deceased. On July 25, 1964, he married Rosemary Pohlman and she survives in Sidney along with a son, Craig (Nicole) Wermert of Lewis Center, Ohio and a brother, Virgil Wermert.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Chris and Curt Wermert and four sisters, Evelyn Freisthler, Erma Barlage, Jeanette Doorley and Joann Wermert and a brother, Herbert Wermert and brother-in-laws, Homer Freisthler, Jerry Doorley and Joe Barlage and a sister-in-law, Viona Wermert.
Carl retired from the Central Oil Asphalt Company as the sales manager and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus 659 and the Sidney American Legion. He was a United States Army National Guard veteran and a wonderful husband and father.
Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 4-8 PM with the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree service at 7:30 PM with the 4th Degree Honor Guard present.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Amberger. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus 659 or Holy Angels Catholic School Endowment Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
