Stephen Arling
Stephen John Arling age 22 of Chickasaw died at 11:30 AM on October 9, 2017 at Mercer Health Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born on April 3, 1995 in Coldwater Ohio. The son of John & Barbara (Heitkamp) Arling. They both survive in Chickasaw.
He is also survived by sisters & brother: Bridget of Chickasaw, Megan of Cloverdale, Amanda of Toledo, Nathan and Rachel both of Chickasaw, 2 nephews Ryan & Leland, niece, April grandparents Ivo & Mildred Heitkamp, St. Henry, aunt & uncles: Tony & Jackie Arling (godfather), Maria Stein, Frank "Wills" Arling, Osgood, Karen & Jay Homan, Cassella, Missy & Mike Moeller, Chickasaw, Ron & Jackie Arling, Maria Stein, Don & Beth Arling, Chickasaw, Mary & Dale Grillot (godmother), New Bremen, Mike Heitkamp, Jim Heitkamp, Terry Medaugh, all of Celina, Denise & Randy Francis New Bremen, Jane & Steve Monnier, Troy, Lisa & Tim Bruns, Celina, and Chuck & LeAnn Heitkamp, North Star.
He was preceded in death by a sister Cynthia Arling, grandparents Frank & Mary Ann Arling, and an aunt Bec Arling.
He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw. He was a former delivery boy for The Daily Standard and a 2014 graduate of Marion Local High School and worked at Crown Equipment, New Bremen.
Steve had a passion for computers and enjoyed bowling, camping and Boy Scouts. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 13, 2017 Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw with Rev. Gene Schnipke, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 12, and from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Friday, October 13.
