Nicholas Poeppelman
Nicholas Paul Poeppelman, age 55, of St. Rt. 705, Yorkshire, Ohio, passed away of natural causes at his residence, Monday morning, September 18, 2017.
He was born October 30, 1961, in Celina, Ohio, to the late John N. Poeppelman and Joan A. (Dirksen) Poeppelman of Yorkshire.
Also surviving are two brothers, Steve & Agnes Poeppelman of Minster and Joe & Dorothy Poeppelman of Yorkshire; nine nieces & nephews: Laura (Keith) Steineman of New Bremen, Sara (Keith) Kremer of Chickasaw, Amy (Rob) Woehrmyer of Piqua, Matt, Adam, and Krista Poeppelman of Minster, Ryan (Danielle) Poeppelman of Minster, Eric and Craig Poeppelman of Yorkshire, along with six great-nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, John "JJ" and Debra Poeppelman.
Nick was a 1980 graduate of Marion Local High School. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and the St. Nicholas Men's Sodality. Nick enjoyed playing cards, marbles, farming and attending toy shows.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 21, 2017, at St. Nicholas Church in Osgood with Rev. David L. Zink presiding. Interment will follow at St. Martin Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
