Emily Minch
Emily V. Minch, 83, Celina, Ohio, passed away July 19, 2017 at Celina Manor, Celina, OH.
She was born March 31, 1934, in Maria Stein, OH, to the late John and Agnes (Menker) Kremer. On November 20, 1954, she married Clarence "Jack" Minch. They celebrated 50 years together before he passed in August 2005.
Surviving are her children, Deb (Don) Reinhart of Celina, Diane (Jeff) Wendel of Bryant, IN, Ken Minch of Celina, and Jim Minch of San Francisco, CA; 6 grandchildren, Abbe Weis, Josh Reinhart, Casey Ballentine, Craig Wendel, Keith Wendel and Stephanie Jacobs; 5 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; 1 step great great grandchild; a brother, Alfred (Martha) Kremer of Lafayette, IN; and three sisters-in-law, Rita Kremer of Dayton, OH, Betty Kremer of Versailles, OH and Jeanene Kremer of Coldwater, OH.
Preceding her in death was a son, Dan Minch; her brothers, Ivo, Otto, Walter, Lewis and Ray Kremer; sisters, Elsie Will and Dorothy Winner; and half siblings, Roman, Edward, Lawrence, Cornelius, Sylvester, Herbert and Werner Kremer and Clara Balster.
She was a graduate of Coldwater High School, Coldwater, OH. Emily was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, Ohio and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend & neighbor. A homemaker extraordinaire, she had an infectious laugh, and was a bloodthirsty card player. She loved her family and would spoil them any chance she had. We will miss her, but we know she and "Jack" are together again, and Heaven will never be the same.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony, OH, Fr. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers and gifts memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or CHP Adult Day Care, Celina, Ohio.
