Dorothy Nuss
Dorothy Nuss, 95, formerly of St. Marys, OH died 8:54 a.m. Wednesday July 12, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
She was born November 13, 1921 in Washington Twp. - Auglaize Co., OH to W. Arthur and Mahilda (Katterheinrich) Schultz. On May 4, 1946, she married Robert H. Nuss, who died January 6, 2001.
She is survived by: son Donald (Susan) Nuss of St. Marys, OH; son Bill (Jane) Nuss of St. Marys, OH; daughter Sheryl (Mike) Gray of St. Marys, OH; 5 grandchildren: Donald (Tonya) Nuss, Jr., Jeff (Karen) Nuss, Missy (Aaron) Wourms, Dan (Haley) Gray, Derrick (Jessica) Gray; 12 great-grandchildren: Victoria Nuss, Kara Nuss, Tyler Nuss, Courtney Nuss, Ashlie Nuss, Landon Gray, Caleb Gray, Claire Wourms, Alex Wourms, Kenzie Gray, Bailey Gray, Jaden Delap; sister Wilma Tester of Wapakoneta, OH; 6 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents W. Arthur and Mahilda Schultz; grandson Douglas Nuss; brother-in-law Howard Tester; brother-in-law Robert (Bernice) Longsworth; brother-in-law Marvin (Marie) Nuss; brother-in-law Melvin (Mildred) Nuss.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1939). She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its women's guild, and the Rural Women's Club.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:00 a.m. Monday July 17, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Paul's UCC Endowment Fund.
