A Springer & Sons Tree Service employee on Wednesday morning cuts down a limb of the prominent cottonwood tree in Celina's Lakeshore Park. Mayor Jeff Hazel said the tree had to come down due to safety concerns ahead of this weekend's Freedom Days festival.
