* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jean Schmehl
Jean E. Schmehl, 68, rural St. Marys, OH died 12:33 p.m. Wednesday May 17, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
She was born May 2, 1949 in Celina, OH to John Robert and Catherine C. (Adams) Johns. On December 4, 1970 at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in St. Marys, OH she married David B. Schmehl, who survives.
She is also survived by: mother Catherine Johns of St. Marys, OH; sister Janet (George) Gibson of St. Marys, OH; sister Jill (Mike) Walter of Fort Recovery, OH; 3 nephews: John (Dorian) Gibson, Don (Laura) Walter, Joe (Marcelle) Walter; 4 grand-nieces and grand-nephews: Ashten Gibson, Lauren (Max) Hamill, Andrew Walter, Charles Walter.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Robert Johns.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1967), and received a degree in business administration from Northwestern Business College. She retired as director of AGAPE Ministries in St. Marys.
She was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church in rural St. Marys. Jean devoted countless hours to the development and growth of AGAPE. An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband, David. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, and she collected and displayed all types of items related to the holiday.
Rites are scheduled to begin 3:00 p.m. Sunday June 25, 2017 at Walnut Grove United Methodist Church 17519 Co. Road 66-A in St. Marys. The Rev. Bev Hurlburt will officiate the services.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either Walnut Grove UM Church or the Resource Opportunity Center (R.O.C.).
