* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Andrew Hemmelgarn
Andrew W. Hemmelgarn, age 96, of Cassella, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at The Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born February 26, 1921 in St. Henry, Ohio, to the late Leo & Theresia (Kothman) Hemmelgarn. On June 30, 1945 he married Margaret "Peg" (Hart) in Wendelin, and she died November 30, 2001.
He is survived by five children, Carol & Ron Muhlenkamp of Coldwater, Tom & Carol Hemmelgarn of Cassella, Vic & Deb Hemmelgarn of St. Henry, Lora & Stan Wilson of Kettering, and Dee & Dan Fullenkamp of Coldwater. Andy is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren, and siblings: Teresa Steinbrunner of Ft. Recovery, and Wilma Everman of Maria Stein, and in-laws: Al & Donna Hart of Celina, Ann Berning of Minster, Leo & Dorothy Hart of Ft. Recovery, and Jean Hart of St. Henry.
He is preceded in death by a son Ivan, and a daughter Mary, as well as siblings: Bertha & Albert Dippold, Leona & Lawrence Hartings, Clara & Norb Grube, Leroy & Mildred Hemmelgarn, and in-laws: Albert Steinbrunner, Cy Everman, Linus & Emma Hart, George & Anna Marie Hart, Mary & Clarence Quinter, John Hart, and Joe Berning.
Andy was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, the C.K. of A. in Cassella, and the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein. He was a religion teacher for many years and formerly owned and operated The Fountain Inn in St. Henry. He also formerly worked for the Post Office, and was the retired Post Master of St. Henry.
He was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Army, and was a Prisoner of War. In his retirement, Andy enjoyed wood working and shared his talents by donating his works to many charitable organizations and events.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Cassella.
Friends may call from 2 PM to 8 PM on Friday and from 9 to 10 AM Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the State of the Heart Care, or the St. Henry EMS.
