* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Two-vehicle crash investigated

Emergency responders assist the injured at the site of a crash on U.S. 127. The Mercer County Sheriff's Office received a call at 12:14 p.m. about the crash near the former Breakaway RecPlex. Sheriff Jeff Grey said a southbound driver was distracted and didn't notice a slower-moving vehicle and the vehicles collided. Both drivers were taken to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater with incapacitating injuries. Further details were not available at press time.
