* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Justin Fickert
Justin C. Fickert, 37, of Berne, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on March 1, 1980, in St. Marys, OH, the son of Lloyd and Robin (Martin) Fickert. On May 27, 2006, he married Leslie Brandt.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bryant, IN. He received his Associate's Degree in CAD and worked as the project manager for O'Neil's Glass & Glazing in Ft. Wayne.
Justin is survived by his parents Lloyd and Robin Fickert of Celina, OH; his wife of 11 years, Leslie Fickert of Berne; his son, Zane G. Fickert (age 3) and his daughter, Natalie M. Fickert (age 1) both at home; a brother, Ryan Fickert of MI.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the First Mennonite Church, 566 W Main St., Berne, with visitation 4 hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Jerry Flueckiger and burial will take place in the M.R.E. Cemetery.
Justin's children were his very life, so at his and Leslie's request, they have asked in lieu of flowers and other mementos to please consider giving a monetary memorial to Zane and Natalie's Education Fund.
