Lavern Stammen
Lavern F. "Vern" Stammen, of O'Fallon, MO, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the age of 85.
He was the loving husband of the late Bethryn L. Stammen for almost 30 years; beloved son of the late Joseph and Bernadine Stammen; devoted father of Dell (Karen) Fields; cherished grandfather of Katie Fields; dear brother of Phyllis (Ray) Miller, Betty (Kenny) Werling, and Thomas Stammen; and brother-in-law of Al Fleckenstein.
He is also preceded in death by his second wife, and the late Marie Herron Stammen; siblings, Mary Jane Fleckenstein and Joseph Stammen; and sister-in-law, Clara Stammen. Vern is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his granddog, Clyde.
Services: The family is being served by the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO visitation on Thursday, May 25, 2017 3:00-4:00 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm. Inurnment St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
