Richard Middendorf
Richard A. Middendorf age 86 of Fort Loramie, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home.
He was born on February 16, 1931 in Fort Loramie, Ohio to the late Charles T. & Agnes S. (Meyer) Middendorf. He married Erma Seger on June 26, 1954 in Fort Loramie, Ohio. She preceded him in death on April 7, 1999.
He is survived by children: Deborah & Kevin Goubeaux, Fort Loramie, Jacqueline & Terry Lenz, Sidney, Gary & Robin Middendorf, Versailles, Donna Middendorf, Celina, Dean Middendorf, Fort Loramie, Eric & Holly Middendorf, son-in-law, Lester Ferguson, Russia, 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, brother: Max Middendorf, New Bremen.
He was preceded in death by: daughter Victoria Ferguson, brothers Arthur & Charles & Norma Middendorf.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie. Richard was a graduate of Fort Loramie High School and was an independent livestock dealer. He loved baseball, golf, playing cards, a good poke of tobacco and a good cigar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Fort Loramie.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 5, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 6.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Home Health and Hospice.
