* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Raymond Doenges
Raymond C. Doenges, 92, Wapakoneta, died 9:20 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Saint Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born December 6, 1924, in Putnam County, Ohio, the son of Wilbur and Nellie (Grant) Doenges. He married Joyce Akerman on November 2, 1946, in Vaughsville, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2009.
He is survived by his two daughters: Cherylee Roberts of Scotts Valley, California; Teresa (David) Smith of Wapakoneta. He is survived by one grandchild, Kylie Roberts of Watsonville, California; by a great-grandson, Anthony, of Watsonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; by his siblings: Marion Doenges; Roger Doenges and LaVon Doenges.
Ray was a 1942 graduate of Continental High School. He retired from Huffy Manufacturing Corporation in Celina.
Ray was a master woodcarver. He and Joyce enjoyed spending many winter seasons near Venice, Florida. They both enjoyed traveling and walking. In earlier years, Ray had enjoyed camping and boating.
Funeral rites will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Reverend Dr. Kimberly Pope-Seiberling, officiant. Graveside burial rites will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Grover Hill, Ohio.
Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday, where memorial gifts may be given to Saint Rita's Inpatient Hospice.
