* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ralph Chapman
Ralph R Chapman, age 85, of St. Henry Ohio, passed away at 1:46 am on Thursday February 23, 2017 at Celina Manor.
He was born on January 7, 1932 in Dexter OH to Lyle and Vona (Nelson) Chapman who preceded him in death. On January 29, 1955, he married his childhood sweetheart Rea Howery. They were married 57 years before her death on December 17, 2012.
Surviving are his children Rick and Ginny Chapman of Estero FL, Randi and Tim Pheiffer of Germantown OH, Robin and Chris May of St. Henry OH, Regina and Chris Nelms of Spring Valley OH, Rhett and Chandra Chapman of Germantown OH, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a son-in-law Stuart Kahn of Ft. Wayne IN and a sister Wanda Burke of Cincinnati OH.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Ronda Kahn and two brothers, Don and Ronnie Chapman.
Ralph served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Chapman's Body Shop in Celina and then mowed for the Village of St. Henry for 15 years.
He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, fishing and flying remote controlled airplanes, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially the little ones.
A private funeral service will be held at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County or the Alzheimer's Association.
