* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Patricia Fleckenstein
Patricia Roseann Fleckenstein, age 67, Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes Wednesday morning, February 22, 2017, at Celina Manor in Celina, Ohio.
She was born April 21, 1949, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Ferd and Marie (Kuether) Fleckenstein.
Surviving are seven siblings and their spouses: Ted & Linda Fleckenstein of Fort Loramie, Ralph & Carol Fleckenstein of Fort Loramie, Doris & Tim Hoying of Botkins, Mary Jane & Louis (dec.) Knapke of Maria Stein, Alice (dec.) & Don Clune of Fort Loramie, Sara & Tim Cotterman of Sidney and Bill & Ann Thieman of Minster; 24 nieces and nephews as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Philip Thieman.
Pat was a 1967 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. She went on to study nursing at St. Rita's School of Nursing in Lima. Sometime later, she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Defiance College.
In 2011, Pat retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys; she had been a registered nurse there 28 years. Previously, she was employed 10 years at the former Piqua Memorial Hospital.
Pat was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. An honorary member of the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad, Pat had been a charter member in active service 35 years. She was also an EMT and CPR instructor.
She belonged to the former Shelby County Professional Women's Organization and had also been a professional parade clown. Additionally, Pat enjoyed crocheting, knitting and interacting with her nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2017, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 to 9:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad.
