Vivian Foxhoven
Vivian C. Foxhoven, 76, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Thursday January 19, 2017 at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice, Lima.
She was born on July 21, 1940 in Linn Grove, IA to Gehard & Kathryne (Schluntz) Olson who preceded her in death. On November 1, 1958 she married Damien J. Foxhoven who survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include two sons and two daughters; Victoria K. "Vicki" (Robbie) Douglas of Wapakoneta, Lamont D. "Monte" Foxhoven of Peoria, AZ, Gregory J. "Greg" (Marilyn) Foxhoven of St. Marys, Penelope S. "Penny" (Michael) Etzkorn of Wapakoneta, 11 grandchildren Jessica (Jim) Dulebohn, Justin (Cassie) Douglas, Jennifer (Jason) Reed, Joshua (Carleigh) Foxhoven, Brandon (Heather) Foxhoven, Alisa Foxhoven, Jacob (Erin) Foxhoven, John Foxhoven, A.J., Elijah, Garrett Etzkorn, 11 great-grandchildren Gabby, Austin, Amber, Dustin, Hunter, Connor, Bailey, Benjamin, Mikey, Blake, Jensen, two brothers and four sisters Richard Olson, LouAnn Burns, Robert Olson, Linda Rydstrom, Retha Harrington, Ruth Thompson and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Laura Veronica Foxhoven, three sisters and a brother Miriam Wiebe, Elaine Jessen, Janet Campbell and Lloyd Olson.
Vivian was a homemaker who enjoyed antiquing and visiting her "favorite stores." She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She also enjoyed playing cards with her "Poker Girls." Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and dearly loved her grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice, Otterbein Cridersville and Sunrise Home Health for the wonderful care given to Vivian.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday January 23, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta where Rev. Patrick Sloneker will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Glynwood.
Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Agape Ministries.
