Kathleen Lavon Fox, age 88 of Celina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016 at the Gardens at Celina, with her family at her bedside.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1928 in Oklahoma to the late Ralph O. and Mary Opal (Roebuck) Lewis. On Feb. 14, 1948, she married Lewis Fox, who died on June 18, 2001.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Kandy and Bill Kugel of Celina, Jan and Glen Trogdlon of Spencerville, Joy and Jack Warthman of Rockford, Robin and Frank Underwood of Columbus, Jennifer and Kirk Stephenson of Mendon, thirteen grandchildren; Tara Mason, Karey Kugel, Kortney Kugel, Michael Crider, Julie Tinnel, Sean Crider, Mindy Felger, Bart Warthman, Nikki O'Brien, Matt Evans, Jordan Stephenson, Kayla Stephenson, Desere Cherry, twelve great grandchildren; Alisha Derrick, Kyle Crider, Amber Crider, Zachary Crider, Lyndsey Heath, Lauren Mason, William Kugel, Adelynn Kugel, Connor Warthman, Carly Warthman, Cohen Warthman, Liah Kathleen O'Brien, three great-great grandchildren Kailee Derrick, Wesson Derrick, Riley Haviland and her sister and brother-in-law Glenn Ellen and Charles Beams of Marysville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Christopher Crider and great granddaughter Zoe Crider.

Kathleen graduated from Mendon-Union High School with the Class of 1946 and was employed as a teller at the First National Bank in Celina, the Post Office in Mendon and the Goodyear Plant in St. Marys. She was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 31, 2016 at the Grand Lake United Methodist Church (St. Paul's Campus) in Celina, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Burial will follow in Mendon Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Friday Dec. 30, 2016 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Lake United Methodist Church.
