Woman dies after falling from pickup

By Jared Mauch
CELINA - A 19-year-old woman died after falling out of a moving pickup truck in a farm field, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
Alivia M. Nuding, 19, 769 N. Walnut St., Celina, reportedly was transported to Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, where she was later pronounced dead, according to a sheriff's office news release.
Deputies reportedly were dispatched to 6092 Burkettsville-St. Henry Road at 12:23 a.m. Sunday in reference to a female who was not breathing after having fallen out of the truck.
Deputies reportedly determined that Brandon McGillvary, 21, 1712 Mockingbird Lane, Celina, was driving a 2008 Ford pickup truck and doing "donuts" in the farm field when Nuding fell out.
Nuding reportedly was sitting on the lap of Gaven Buschur, 18, 710 W. Logan St., Celina, in the right front passenger seat when she fell out. Passengers in the truck also included Chelsie Mobley, 18, 4962 U.S. 127, Celina, who was in the left rear seat, and Kalynee Sattler, 19, 106 Cottonwood Drive, Celina, who was in the right rear seat.
The passengers reportedly told deputies that Nuding accidentally opened the right front passenger door before falling out. CPR was administrated to Nuding before she was taken to the hospital, according to the Mercer County Sheriff' Office log.
The incident remains under investigation.
