* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Jordan Bowers
Jordan Jay Bowers, age 34, was called into the presence of the Lord Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
Jordan was born June 16, 1982 in Coldwater.
Jordan dearly loved his sons Braden and Cashton and will be sadly missed by his brothers and all who knew and loved him. May Jordan find the peace that eluded him on this earth!
He was blessed with a family that loved him dearly, parents, Kevin Jay and Lisa Marie (Hooten) Bowers of Spencerville; special friend and mother of his sons, Melissa Harper of Celina; sons, Braden M. Bowers and Cashton J. Bowers both of Spencerville; brothers, Isaac L. Bowers of Columbus, Zachary J. (Hannah) Bowers of Colorado Springs, CO, Elijah J. Bowers of Columbus and Benjamin D. Bowers, of Columbus; grandfather, Ronald G. (Claire) Bowers of Elida; grandfather, James H. Hooten of Springfield; grandmother, Barbara Ann Hooten of Celina and uncles, Craig (Ruth) Bowers of Moulton, Kyle (June) Bowers of Elida, Jason (Shannon) Bowers of Lima, Enoch Hooten of Sharpsville, IN and Aunts, Lisa (Keith) Kroehler of Lima and Cindy (Don) Jacomet of Delphos; Many cousins and extended family.
He is preceded in death by grandmother, Donna J. Bowers.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM Monday, October 24, 2016 at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, 45805. Pastor Randy Christian will officiate the service. Burial will be in Allentown Cemetery following the service.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the grandparents, towards the care of Braden and Cashton.
