* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Bernice Barger
Bernice Barger, 85, Greenville, Ohio, died September 29, 2016, at the home of her grandson in Troy, Ohio. She was born May 2, 1931, in Hartford City, IN, to Clay and Elsie (Enyeart) McGahey. On February 28, 1948 in Jay County Indiana, she married the late Marvin Barger, who died March 26, 2013.
Surviving are her daughter, Lugene Barger Copas of Dayton, OH; her son, Doug (Tammy) Barger of Greenville, OH; her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Maxine Hartzell of Portland, IN; and her brother-in-law, Bill Gibson of Portland, IN.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Scarlet Barger McSherry; four brothers, Howard, Roy, Alfred and Harold McGahey and six sisters, Hazel Bainter, Lena Barger, Helen Simons, Eileen Feaster, Frieda Stiff and Tonya Gibson.
Bernice was passionate about cats and loved caring for them. She opened her home to many throughout the years. She enjoyed collecting dolls and salt and pepper shakers. Her favorite pastimes were doing needle point, crafts and painting.
Services are 11:00 am Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio, with Niel Petersen officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Calling is 9:30 am-11:00 am Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, prior to the service.
